Ray,

Bill's cabinet looks great and matches the finish of the lower cabinets nicely. Paper towel holder is replaced and working. The trim, however, in the kitchen, is PERFECT. What a huge difference it makes on the cabinets and the little profile, and the size, looks so clean and nice. It doesn't look like scribe....it looks like we planned it. shhh.

Though this is long overdue, it is sent as a reminder of what a great job you did in the kitchen. I'm now pretty well settled in, and I cannot begin to describe how wonderful it is to work in my new kitchen. Each and every time I walk in and gaze at the new cupboards, the beautiful Corian, and my beautiful pantry, I think of both of you and how much work it took to make it look like that. Words cannot tell you how happy I am there cooking up a storm! I cannot ever thank you enough, and Tony, I love my recipe cupboard...I can put my fingers on any recipe in about 30 seconds flat...and find just what I'm looking for. It is simply wonderful and perfect. Come by and see it now that it is done--I got those awful orange chairs recovered and they look great!

Now you can take pictures for other potential customers, and remember--any time, I'll be happy to give someone the "Quick Sell" on how fabulous new cupboards and counter tops are!

The following letter of appreciation is not from a customer

February 2, 1994

Dear Mr. Carlton:

I am writing this letter to express my deepest appreciation and that of the entire Marshal's Department for your heroic actions on January 11, 1994, in the El Cajon Courthouse. On that morning, you came upon Deputy Marshal Bill Whited physically restraining and struggling with a suspect whom he was trying to arrest. When the confrontation turned violent and the deputy and suspect ended up on the ground, you, without hesitation, moved in to help.

While assisting in the attempt to control the suspect, you saw the person reach for Deputy Whited's service revolver and tried to pull his hand away from the weapon. Even though he was able to momentarily grab the pistol and fire one shot that slightly injured Deputy Whited, your efforts were directly instrumental in the eventual disarming and subduing of this individual.

There is no doubt your quick and decisive intervention was a major factor in saving Deputy Whited from a more serious or fatal injury. Further, had the suspect been able to control the weapon for even a second or two longer, the very real possibility also existed that one or more innocent bystanders could have been injured or killed.

In short, upon encountering this situation, you made the instantaneous decision to put yourself in harm's way in order to come to the aid of Deputy Whited. For this unselfish act of bravery, I wish to personally thank you and extend the unending gratitude of the entire Marshal's Department.
